    Driving Change Network Presentation

    The Driving Change Network was formed in 2019, when Todd Foundation, JR McKenzie Trust, Vodafone New Zealand Foundation and the Mayors Taskforce for Jobs decided driver education, training and licensing in Aotearoa needed to move beyond philanthropy and into a centrally funded model.The Driving Change Network has grown into a diverse group of more than 200 Stakeholders representing the community, industry, Iwi/Mฤori and philanthropy sectors who support driver education, training and licensing.     The Driving Change Network was formed in 2019, when Todd Foundation, JR McKenzie Trust, Vodafone New Zealand Foundation and the Mayors Taskforce for Jobs decided driver education, training and licensing in Aotearoa needed to move beyond philanthropy and into a centrally funded model.

    The Driving Change Network has grown into a diverse group of more than 200 Stakeholders representing the community, industry, Iwi/Mฤori and philanthropy sectors who support driver education, training and licensing. The network recognises barriers to driver education and provide national coordination to enable positive change.

It is run by a Governing Committee, a small team of dedicated Approved Driving Instructors working full time in their own driving schools who donate their spare time and energy to improve the driver training industry for the benefit of both instructors and the general public.
