The Driving Change Network was formed in 2019, when Todd Foundation, JR McKenzie Trust, Vodafone New Zealand Foundation and the Mayors Taskforce for Jobs decided driver education, training and licensing in Aotearoa needed to move beyond philanthropy and into a centrally funded model.
The Driving Change Network has grown into a diverse group of more than 200 Stakeholders representing the community, industry, Iwi/Mฤori and philanthropy sectors who support driver education, training and licensing. The network recognises barriers to driver education and provide national coordination to enable positive change.
